A hand-cut perfume-bottle in which the cut is made into a raw material of colored lead-crystal, which is created by combining a layer of clear crystal together with a layer of colored crystal. It is this outer color layer that is sanded or sanded and thus the intended decor is created. This production process is the pinnacle of glassmaking. Mehr
Handmade product made of colored cased crystal with 24% PbO content, which is created by combining a layer of clear crystal together with a layer of colored crystal at temperatures around 800 ° C. This production process is at the top of manual production possibilities and only the best and most capable glassmakers can produce it. The fact that no method has been invented so far that would enable machine production also testifies to the complexity of production. In this product, traditional work is preserved to this day. The younger generation of glassmakers learns glass processing skills from older glass masters.
The basic glass raw materials used in glass melting are glass sand, potash and limestone. Glass shards are also added to the glass stem. Typical colors of the absorbed crystal are created by the addition of metal oxide ingredients to the furnace during melting. The current color palette includes ruby, blue, purple, green, and cyan. Quite exceptionally, the color black also melts, which, however, is only suitable for some shapes and decors. Each product must successfully pass several stages of quality control, which follow each individual process. The acceptance process takes place at a temperature of about 800 ° C, when the white crystal flask, which forms the basis of the product, is embedded in a preformed colored funnel in the mold. Wooden molds change regularly because they are in constant contact with the hot mass. By grinding the glass to different depths, with the help of a natural or synthetic wheels, the grinder achieves the desired shape and design of each product. The point behind the entire production process is polishing. With it, each product is completely immersed in a polishing bath. The product thus acquires a luster, which further underlines its beauty and splendor.
